For the past few
sessions we have been curating, locating, validating, collecting, sharing and
evaluating resources we’ve found while researching and exploring! This week my
classmates and I all had the opportunity to use Google Docs for our
collaborative presentation. Google Docs is an online word processor that allows
you to create and format text documents and also lets you collaborate with
other people in real time. With Google
Docs you can use keyboard shortcuts, share documents with ease, and shortcut to
launch Google Docs or launch a new document in Google Docs. This is such a
great tool for us students because it is available at the amazing cost of zero
dollars.
Since it is a free program and is available at your fingertips
on your Internet browser or smartphone it is easily accessible and will cater
to your word processing needs and is a very great choice. My favourite
feature of Google Docs was being able to work on my Collaborative Google Docs Group
Presentation PowerPoint and having it save automatically after each word and I
also liked the fact that I can see which slide my partners were on and what
they were writing as they were writing it. Google Docs being introduced to
us ADED 1P32 students will help in this course and future because we can do
anything from use the basic features of access from any computer to the 7
different file formats.
As for my PLE in
regards to Google Docs I will be adding Google Docs to my PLE because I feel in
the years to come it will be more popular than
